Since the update to Zero-K v0.8.8.1 a variety of mouse cursors will not appear. This only happens when loading the game with the Zero-K lobby. Loading via SpringLobby does not have this issue. The program was installed using only the installer from the Zero-K website. Issue was not present in version 0.8.7.2 before installing version 0.8.8.1.

The cursor does not show where the mouse is pointing but they do show when hitting Shift to view issued commands. I have tried turning various widgets off/on, but have not resolved the issue.

Of the preconfigured pointers the following do not work:
Animated: Attack, Repair, Patrol
Static: Attack, Repair, Guard, Patrol
CA Classic: Move
CA Static: Move, Attack, Guard
Erom: Move, Attack, Guard, Patrol, Reclaim, Fight, Rez
Masse: Fight
Lanthan: Pointer, Move, Attack, Patrol, Guard, Fight, Repair, Reclaim, Rez
K_haos_girl: D-gun, Fight, Guard

Specs:
Desktop (currently undergoing repairs)
Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS w/ latest drivers (275.33)
4GB DDR2 RAM

Laptop
Dell Inspiron 1721
ATI Radeon X1250 w/ Catalyst 10.2
2GB DDR2 RAM

Also of note: both systems are running Vista.

In the lobby go to settings->adv. graphics->edit engine configuration

And turn hardware cursor off (set it to 0).

HW cursor is much faster and wont suffer from lag but some PC are not compatible with it :(

Thanks. It seems that I had ignored that since I had changed the setting using the springsettings program. I guess there will be a few less things for us noobs to worry about when the Zero-K lobby and spring settings get back into the same system.

And again, Thanks.
