I just tried to change my nickname from thurak to Thurak (capital T) using the /rename command in spring lobby, now i reset the lobby i cant login as it just says bad user name/password, I've tried restarting the lobby but it doesn't work, tried login in with capital and lower-case T but doesn't work

If you have logged in here with the lower case version then you have not renamed. As far as I am aware this site is directly linked to the sever accounts so your username and password here indicate what they are for the lobby. The bad username/password error sounds like springlobby is still attempting to login with the capitalised version.

but I have tried logging in with both the capitalised T and non capitalised, both times it said bad username/password

You probably didnt rename to thurak at all but to something with typo :)
Try to find the command in history. I bet its thuak or something.

found it, it said Thurak the way i have been trying to login, also it automatically tried to reconnect but failed straight away, and the password I had used to previously login was saved as it reconnected automatically, and I've also tried retyping it

i would post the part of the history here but for some reason it wont let me:
Server Error in '/' Application.
A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client

ive even gone as far as copying and pasting the username and password into both the lobby and zero-k website, zero-k is happy with it, but lobby doesnt let me in (tried with T and t)

also is there a way to edit posts?

If it works for this site I would assume a Springlobby bug. It would be good if you could get ZKL running on something to test it.

To throw a far fetched idea out there it could be an accidental ban of an IP range.

Ok I just created a new account under the name Thurak, now i can login with thurak and Thurak, and i end up with a capital T each time, however i dont have the rank from before, so im a newbie instead of a beginner, and im not sure how zero-k will treat it

hmm you renamed to something else than Thurak first time. If you tell us IP we could do IP check on accounts to find your renamed one.
