What's the best tank counter to Rogues+Bandits in the early game?

Kodachis need impractical amounts of micro to beat Bandits and start suffering friendly fire pretty easily.

Kodachi and/or blitz (same range as bandit helps a lot) are the only real choice here. Kodachi should beat bandit, but part of the problem here is just the map. The initial mexes are extremely defensible and there's not much room to maneuver anywhere on the map. Guardian commander is also a serious annoyance to have to deal with for kodachis in such a small map. I think building the minotaur so early was a mistake, and you should keep in with kodachis. Also emissaries spent most of the game targeting constructors and kodachis spent too much time defending instead of raiding.

The real problem is when outlaw and felon start showing up and then I think you just have to tech switch to deal with them.

Too many terrain disadvantages to go tanks/rovers here and stay viable. I'd like to know if you have the same problem on a more open map.
