Zero-K not exiting from Steam

Hi, quick question/problem/bug:

I play ZK through Steam launcher. When I press exit in the ZK lobby, the window exits fine, but Steam still thinks ZK is open. Trying to force stop ZK through Steam does NOT work for ending it. The only thing that I have found that works is forcing the steam client bootstrapper to stop from task manager.

Has anyone else had this issue or found solutions?

When I've seen this happen, it's been from hitting one of the buttons in Zero-K that opens a browser, and then closing Zero-K before closing the browser window. It's almost as if from Steam's perspective, the browser process is a subprocess of Zero-K at that point. When the browser closes, Zero-K would leave the Running status immediately. Edit: Pretty sure I saw this while running Manjaro.
