With my friend, since several days, we are experencing extremly heavy lags in coop campaign. My friend is reaching 70seconds+ Pings without any reasons, and its very random. its growing up by 1 seconds every seconds.
Can't do 2 missions in a row without having this issue
Are we the lone ones having this issue ?
We are close to complete the campaign and we would like to complete it without extreme pings

What planets did you guys have the problem on? Might help the devs figure it out if there's a specific planet where you're seeing the issue.

Try having someone else host, they should have a copy of the coop campaign save if they joined as a client. The campaign is P2P using Steam lobbies to do the initial connection. The problem won't be related to the server.

@Kurosei: Our computer setting never changed since we have started the coop campaign. It worked very well that far :(
CArankPorkchop: Its for any planets. For exemple we have tried a certain planets, wich i didn't had the name in mind. We failed an objective so we restarted. after few minutes after the restart, Ultra lag issue came annoying my friend. After changing missions it wasn't solved. We have started a multiplayer private skirmish mission, all 10 Minutes went well, so we left and came back to campaign. We have done 1 mission without problems, and at the beggining of the next one, the problem was back ;-;
AUrankAdminGoogleFrog: Campaign isn't hosted by your servers ? How can i have 33ms ping on the server that im hosting them ?
By thinking about it, how can i have a 33Ms ping with a server located in Canada while im in France ? Im supposed to have 150-200 on FPS games. :D
Isn't there ny way to have campaign missions hosted by your servers ?

The 'ping' shown ingame is the latency between issuing a command and seeing the command ingame. The game runs at 30 game frames per second, and commands cannot 'arrive' between frames, so the host has a 'ping' of 33ms. There are some springsettings to try for improving a poor connection. Doing so is a bit complicated but I could post instruction later if you are interested.

Nobody has written the infrastructure required to host coop campaign games on the server. There is no reason it couldn't be done.

We gonna see if the issue occur longer for later days
Aswell, we will try to swap the campaign host
If nothing of these solution works i will require your help for "Springs" things that im not understanding. Im convinced already you aren't talking about the season ;D

We have done one more game while i was host. We have finished it without any issue. We have re launched the same mission to complete an objective. Less than 10 second after the start of the mission, my friend had his ping rising high again. Its happening definitly after the first game done. If it can help you to put a diagnosis...

So we have swapped host. Now my friend on his side has got a problem that i also had from time to time, but from his side, its more often. When he is starting a game, 1/2 time i have connecting to server, and at 10s im sent back to the menu. Meaning my friend is playing, and i didn't get accepted in the mission. Sometimes it works with "Waiting Server Response" or something similar. Things are clear, if my screen has got conecting to server, it will not works. If i have Waiting server response, it will works.

This could be a very dumb question, but are you inviting your friend via the remote play option in steam overlay? Doing that would mean your computers are attempting to stream the entire game to each other, I think?

Find IGL_data.lua in your ZK game data folder/LuaMenu/Config. Open it in your text editor of choice and find the game_settings table. Modify these settings.
	UseNetMessageSmoothingBuffer = 1
	NetworkLossFactor = 0
	LinkOutgoingBandwidth= 65536
	LinkIncomingSustainedBandwidth = 2048
	LinkIncomingPeakBandwidth = 32768
	LinkIncomingMaxPacketRate = 64

Do this for both or either players and see what happens.

We have both applied changes. I have hosted and at the first game, Ping rised a lot for my friend, at the beggining of the mission. So we swaped host again. And my friend has still a chance to start the game without me (Connexion to server (1s-10s)) :(
