:D banned again

Do stupid things win stupid prizes.

After rewatching replay I can say that it was ddaboqepp own Roach that exploded. That's not the point of story though.

Three consecutive battles i was placed with this dude:

All three times he did some useless and even harmful stuff. It is a noob play for all I care. Usually when people are new they go play campaign or coop. Mind you, ddaboqepp had first blue then silver rank. Players of blue rank are expected to contribute something to the team. This three games it was obvious lose every time.

Now, this is all no biggie frankly. I just think that balance system of Zero-K clearly has something wrong going on.

Oh yes brother, indeed it is. Unburied rush singu right in your base with no units whatsoever? If that's not harmful then I don't know what is.

I invite everyone concerned to watch replays of three battles I linked to decide for themselves how they feel about ddaboqepp play.

Edit: I just rewatched one of them. It wasn't even singu rush. Guy's just got no clue about what he was doing, it was absolutely erratic to my point of view. This isn't a playstyle, its just overall brownian motion.

ddaboqepp deliberately blew up his own factory at the start of the game, thus hindering his team for no good reason. That would ordinarily be cause for a ban as per part 3 of the CoC. In this case the ban is longer because he did it in such a way that he obviously intended somebody else to be blamed for the teamkilling (as, in fact, temporarily occured). The latter isn't explicitly spelled out as being against the CoC but one does not get away with being awful just because you did it in a way the writers of the CoC didn't explicitly consider.

Ontheheavens was briefly banned for this incident but it has since been downgraded to a warning. If his roaches surrounding ddaboqepp's factory had been exploded by an enemy Flea/Scythe/Phoenix/whatever he would still be getting banned for teamkilling despite not blowing them up himself. Putting roaches around an ally's factory is itself a pretty unfriendly act, and as TinySpider said, sometimes when you play a stupid game (like putting roaches near an ally's fac) you win a stupid prize (like being banned for something beyond what you actually did).

In the game I played I didn't have the impression that ddaboqepp was deliberately griefing in general, for what that's worth (though I was on the opposing team).

your team won because your team is cool.. you can only eat the cake if help to make it.. well you can still have a slice even if you dont help.. but why pretend they made the cake just for you..

your team needs you.. your important.. because your getting metal
all is forgiven soon im sure ~ all that matters is you learn to be an ally

its so wierd when you have enemies on own team.. need a way to swap the betrayers to the other team

Just to clarify, I was content with my ban. Since it has been lifted, I will not play lobsterpot on my own volition.
