I might get blocked/threadlocked(or deleted) or anything. I do not care. The newest update.. Holy shit does it suck. I have no reason to come back to this game anymore. Game's been reduced into absolute dumbness, zero-fun.

Mostly the cost increases. The useless, non substantial, com weapon "buffs". Bertha range is now literally 2x cerbereus, why even make bertha now? Spam cerb. Removing
everything
that is fun, instead of at least trying to come up with a counter option, and removing depth to the game, I'd say inch by inch, but this is mile by mile. Game's no longer fun, this patch makes it even more unfun, and even especially more so with underwater singus. underwater moho isn't a problem, but it does practically the same, for 1/4th of metal. These "updates" are all wrong, really. Either way, this is my last post. Good bye.

The only "cost increase" I see is Sparrow and as far as I know that change is generally liked.
I doubt that Bertha has been invalidated by Cerberus. Double the range is a lot.
I would not care to speak for the rationale behind the com weapon changes.
Moho has the substantial weakness that it must be built on a geo spot which makes it predictable. Underwater geo spots are very rare anyway IIRC.
That being said, do what you like.

Would the com weapon buffs be good enough there were no reduction in normal damage to get special damage?

...useless nerfing of units just for the sake of RPS and other stuff instead of making a specific counter to it. Too many good features that made this game Zero-K are being removed just for the sake of what?
I already mentioned in other thread that the game starts to dissipate because of the negative nerfing over and over again. Take example the "Bertha". It's a damn big cannon why would you reduce its range? It's useless without its main feature and purpose it has and that of firing from distance. What do you do?... nerf the range?... seriously?
You guys have created a "Zero-K nerf religion" here just for a bunch of admins. And anybody that doesn't like what you want to change or what you changed is considered a heretic. You might dislike this comment you might not like that I said what I said but this is the reality...you are changing stuff to this game without reasons. Take the example of the commander modules that

nerfed/buffed recently. Did we had any complain about them being to OP? NO...and what did he did? Nerfed them without a reason.
When a person nerfs stuff without a reason not even playing himself with the tactic it's clearly you guys are going in the wrong direction. Give me a game when

made bertha spam or a game where he morphed commanders that he recently nerfed/buffed. Or a game where he early rushed the Bertha.
All the nerfing in this game must have a reason and from what I see most of them don't have one. So

are you sure you want to brake an interesting game? When will you start considering the opinion of general players? You have clear examples when a lot of good players went away from this game. I also went away most of the time for this similar reason. Doesn't this ring a bell to you guys? Where is the big player base that you expected for this game after greenlight?

Gone for a week+ to deal with IRL death threats and relationship issues and this is what I return to.
More and more our tools are being dumbed down to address nonissues. Take the singu change. Was this really necessary? Did it really hurt anyone in big teams? Nobody has EVER complained to my knowledge about buried singus in big teams. Literally never.
If this is such a huge concern, why not buff quake to punish these singus that are underwater? Quake is a comically underused and useless unit that gets invalidated by a single shield or buildings on top of terra. Wouldn't it have been better to have quake deal damage to buildings and/or force the area under them to smooth and deal damage to the buildings?
In any event, good luck. I still have relationship issues to mend out.

In recent months the developers have received way more complaints about how powerful Bertha is/was than people saying "it's fine, don't change anything". If anything the developers
resisted
nerfing Bertha.

I can't see a single commander change in the most recent patch that was a direct nerf. In fact I think all but one are direct buffs.

This change had more to do with free-for-all than large teams I think. In any case as per
this thread
the change does not appear to be generally disliked. I do not see a sensible way for Quake to be changed to interact meaningfully with amph-Singu.

the main issue might be that the game has no feature vote system.. so no way to see how many like or dislike all the requested changes. forum is the next best thing.. but it would seem +2 votes is not a very angry community.. googlefrog cant ignore a +20.. so get more smurfs and vote up your top post

For the record: i have persistently voiced on how underwater singu being invisible and invulnerable is bad ever since that 3 hour 30 minutes game with
izirayd
. I would have preferred that solved by removing sonar of course, but this also works.
You can still probably get to have UW singus though, the same way you used to get UW Gauss.

Unoccupied geospots do not block terraform. Therefore all non-lava maps have underwater geos.

This game was not built by community voting and doubt it should start now. If anything, I think this game is what it is because of constant change (both good and bad) which includes some players leaving and other joining.
Didn't like underwater singus, and berthas are boring for me. I prefer much more zenith/disco than 10 berthas on each side.

the bertha reloads time change would've been better than reducing range because the range is exactly why you get the bertha and not missile silo or Cerberus. plus it's countered by Shockley so I don,t see a reason to have changed it in the first place.
