[Fixed] Temporary download problems

DeinFreund 7 years ago (edited 7 years ago) There's a temporary issue with Zero-K not displaying the download progress. This is caused by an error within the user interface of the downloader, the download is still running in the background. Press the "Rescan Files" button under "Downloads" and rejoin your battle room after waiting a few moments for the download to finish. The map/mod should now be available to play on. This issue has been resolved. Restart the game to get the new version. The auto update doesn't work for me though, so maybe another fix is needed.. Reinstalling should definitely work. +1 / -0

GoogleFrog 7 years ago From what I gather the server bugs stem from running out of memory due to a change in our game packaging system. When it works the new package should have improved integrity and load times. But this information is second hand. +0 / -0

Licho 7 years ago (edited 7 years ago) Yeah sorry for that. It was caused by a new way of packaging to game that improves startup speed (and prevents annoying "freeze" when the game appears unresponsive on loading). It should now be ok. +2 / -0
TheMooseIsLoose 7 years ago Recent updates should have fixed downloads for everyone, including steam release users. If anyone is still having download problems check your antivirus! I just discovered bitdefender was silently blocking chobby downloads. +1 / -0
