Well not sure, but probably this version has something that causes sync errors. So better to be aware of those now just in case it does, someone blame linux versions and so, but there is windows people desyncing too, well I never had sync errors before at least it was real rarity and now with this new version it becomes quite common.

http://zero-k.info/Battles/Detail/35722 also this is half FFA 2v2v2v2 (someone blamed FFA for this) many desynced some more badly some less.

This was first battle I think when they started occuring rather often. Pls ppl post more battles with sync errors. And name OS and etc you are running.

FYI I also started experiencing sync errors since 0.8.13.3, running on GNU/Linux with the same setup that used to work before that update. I've checked the network and that's not the cause. Just seeing 0.8.13.4 is out I hope it fixes 'coz I'm addicted to this game :^D thanks, ciao

0.8.13.4 doesn't fixes this, last game we were two people with sync errors

i'm a coder, anything i can do to debug this pls lemme know

I used Ubuntu, and now Kubuntu, because of Unity <- I hate it.
With the old Ubuntu everything was fine, but I get to many errors now.

It isn't a unicode problem that my SL doesn't display properties readable (only if you change it by yourself you can read anything).


This game (link in the first post) I've got many sync errors, and won the game in my dream version of this battle.

BUT my LOCAL replay was WITHOUT any sync errors?

There is only one sim in a replay, it can't desync with itself.

I upgraded to Kubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot and sync errs make it impossible to play this game after I downgraded form 0.83 to 0.82.7. I have tried almost everything and I can't get Kubuntu to work right. I guess Linux users will have to wait to be able to play again this.
