Also: two commanders. I do not even know what happened.
Also: check the name of the game.

Two coms is the balancer. Basically your given extra coms as if you were more than 1 player. Why two instead of 3 although I dunno.

I still feel cheated. No moderators, or something?

There's no reason to reverse this. You didn't loose anything. I think if next time you quit the game before everyone readies up it wont even affect elo.

I would do that, if not by the interface that automatically put me on ready when i join somewhere. Development failure. I would never do that mistake again - true, but still, if that is allowed, where is fair play? And what about my missing commander?

What would you want reversed? Your elo loss? If so, don't worry about losing elo. It's not a score. You don't win a prize for having a high rating. A game here or there that incorrectly adjusts your elo doesn't matter; if you keep playing it will converge to its correct value before long.

There clearly was some kind of bug here, but other than starting a game that shouldn't have been started and thereby wasting the players' time, it doesn't look like there's been any harm done.

It doesn't auto ready you. You need to choose a spawn position before that.

I don't understand why you mean by fair play. The missing commander thing is a bug, obviously.

CrazyEddie: Players probably "!forcestart"ed the game. I doubt that a bug caused the game to start.

By fair play i mean three versus one play, where that was my first multiplayer game in Zero-K. If not by my friends who play in this game, after such welcome i would quit immidiately.
Actually, multiplayer interface is designed TERRIBLY. I still have some problems with navigation. And searching for guide how to use it properly is pure waste of time.
Google-guided searching system? Srsly, guys.

Oh. I just saw that this was supposed to be a "vs CAI" game. Hehe. I've yet to play in such a room, so I can't provide exact information. In that case all I can say is that this room has nothing to do with fair play and that you have been in the wrong team.

Will you provide a log of the lobby's battle room before the game started? You can access the logfile by right clicking the "Battle" channel in the chat tab and selecting "Open History". Just upload all of it to pastebin, link it and I'll take a look at it.

>Actually, multiplayer interface is designed TERRIBLY.

You're not the only one who thinks so. But so far nobody has come forward to make a better interface. The devs who work on the interface are more-or-less satisfied with it as it is, although they do keep trying to make it better and are open to suggestions.

>And searching for guide how to use it properly is pure waste of time.

ZK needs a lot of work on documentation, especially for helping new players get started. In some places it's very good, in other places it's just plain empty. I'm sure the devs would appreciate any help anyone could offer.

An introduction to multiplayer games is on my ToDo, Eddie. I can't decide whether it should be a video (would be my first) or just lots of images with some text here and there. I'd be happy if someone else did it, 'cause I probably wont for quite some time. It's not high priority at all, since I ain't playing anyway, the lobby will probably change after it's Linux compatible and many new players don't care for help - in that order.

From my own experience i can say that picture-after-picture guide is better.
Do you know when ZK will go through such changes?
And about the logs, they wanted to kick me at first, then say "pour kon soit ke d francais" and forcestarted. Nah. That's really all. I guess they used other form of communication.
I would be happy to help, but as Skasi mentioned, if there's interface change under way, we should probably wait for it.

Things are always changing, but incrementally. I doubt there's any dramatic changes planned at the moment. Even if there were it would be a mistake to wait on them.

If you are inclined to help, jump right in! Find something you don't like and make it better. But mostly play the game and have fun. :)
