Commander jumped out, apparently by himself, when dig order was cancelled.

It might have been caused by him wanting to reclaim some wreckage (albeit he shouldn't see it from the watery grave?...), and decided that jumping will shorten path, as per appropriate - default on(?) - widget from the vanilla Zero-K.

I disabled said widget, and would recommend doing so for anyone that is feed up with jumpy commanders wasting jump in least appropriate moment (or jumping in middle of enemies, cause there is a wreckage to reclaim or something to repair).

No jump widget is enabled by default.

I thought units jump automatically when you use retreat zones, which is enabled in default settings.

No retreat zones are placed by default though.

That isn't relevant. You could say that no player actions are taken by default. I was just talking about screwing up your UI by going deep into the options (in this case widgets).

It turns out that automatic jump could happen with default widgets.
