I remeber a time when it was common to pause and wait for you opponent when they crashed. But it seems fairness and human decency is to much to ask from certain people nowdays.

In 10v10 people become part of the faceless crowd, impossible empathise with. That must be the reason.

Well having 19 people waiting for a single person to catch up is not exactly the utilitarian ideal either.

I suppose, but i personally don´t feel great when i win because one of the best players of the enemy-team crashed. Especially when they immiediatly catch up again and it´s only a few minutes into the game.
