Had 15 nukes in silo, 2 Banthas, 3 Dets, Warlord, Leviathan, 2 Reefs and nobody took notice. Then that annoying starlight enables his big lazzor even though it's on hold fire (didn't turn it off) :(

Can we maybe get some kind of activation animation for starlight? Nuke also has an animation that allows you to abort when you didn't mean to fire the nuke.(Happens to me sometimes)

Activating starlight is a timed win condition* after all, so it shouldn't be a minor thing.

For impale killed dets' heads and as emergency lighting rods.

The model is otherwise cool but the spikes are ugly imo, a zerg motif in an otherwise terran building.

Infested Starlight.

The spikes are phased waveguides or something. I might change their shape a little, but they're staying, and i feel that their utter verticality is important for something as vertically oriented as the Starlight.

(also i possibly will make them retract)

What's about Zerg and spikes? I don't remember Zerg buildings having a lot of vertically aligned spikes. Maybe SC2 Zerg are weird though.

Agreed it needs vertical elements, but I don't like the spikes. They seem out of proportion to the rest of the unit and not well-integrated - too small and thin to be stuck onto something so large and blocky and solid.

Each spike cluster could become a single vertical rod (with flat top).

I didn't like how single vertical rod came out, so i tried there rods with bracing. This way they are also easy to make fold; the one on picture is folded, they unfold to different heights, maintaining general slant of the pyramid.

I don't like these a lot either, but they do see more fit with the motif.

I think that's it for mesh modifications. I'll start texturing it.

I like the one on the left. The braces on the corner greebles are a nice match with the internal structure. Looks good!

The one on the right is the same as the earlier one, right?
