2 A several k metal worth shieldball doesn't magically appear near the front of your base. Counterattacking is still very strong vs shieldballs, as they are so slow and rely on being relatively clumped together in one place. As cloakies you can split your forces much more freely. Use this advantage! 2 A several k metal worth shieldball doesn't magically appear near the front of your base. 4 They move out of their base? Kill their eco. They have too much porc for your units to do that? Well, then they have been investing money into porc instead of shieldball, so it's all good. 4 They move out of their base? Kill their eco. They have too much porc for your units to do that? 33 Stiletto + anything is good, really. Stiletto + tick to get the old stiletto effect, stiletto + shadow to snipe felons, stiletto + hold fire snipers to kill naked felon/aspis, stiletto + glaive to swarm the ball, etc. You just need anything that has some resemblance of synergy with stiletto. 33 Stiletto + anything is good, really. 35 If your opponent has the economy to make and sustain a big shieldball, then you should easily be able to afford a techswitch, even if you started with a factory that has a hard time against shieldballs.
