1 The only reason the main dev branch is kept playable is that it feeds directly into the stable version. Any dev branches would quickly get outdated. We used to have these and that's what happened. I agree we should manage random contributions by people who don't know what they are doing better, but their work making it into the live version is one of the major reasons we get contributions (something like ZK-dota to a luaui script). 1 The only reason the main dev branch is kept playable is that it feeds directly into the stable version. 3 That workflow proposal is just impossible for us. We do not have a gatekeeper who even understands every component game, there are art assets, animation scripting, lua, lups, and all the support and website stuff. 3 That workflow proposal is just impossible for us. 5 Edit: Wow 9 seconds apart and google basically said exactly what I did only more succinctly. There is always room for improvement but it's not as simple as you make out sheep.
