I
see
this
as
one
of
those
increasingly
common
examples
of
the
issue
we've
been
discussing
about
kodachi.
No
condescendence
or
offense
intended
by
the
statement
here,
but
unless
Kshatriya
has
improved
threefold
in
the
past
half
a
year,
Godde
should
still
be
in
a
league
of
his
own
by
comparison
-
and
as
such,
this
shouldn't
have
happened
so
easily.

What I feel this illustrates is exactly the amount of effort a kodachi user has to put in by comparison to the opponent. Godde appeared to believe that daggers should be up to the task, but they're just not - partially due to factors related to the lead targetting conversation happening in parallel right now. Sure, bolas or scalpel may have had more success. But I think there's an unspoken (if mistaken) belief that raiders should be able to make better trades at play here.

Really frustrating to see but I'm glad kodachi is under growing scrutiny.
