This

I

then
again,
I
might

Nevertheless, there was plenty of people turning on the strongest player without overcomitting, so it was very well balanced for a long time. Most mayor players went through a near death :)

The drawback off course is that it was a 2h game as a result :p

- Diplomacy: Who is fighting/helping who, who looks like the strongest player/most urgent threat to different players). Sometimes players have a reputation that works against them.

- Eco: Who is growing while keeping a low profile (making eco, building up army but not using it yet).

- Army/fights: Balance aggression with defense and with attrition, when do players decide to use their army. (note that even when you lose less army than one opponent in a fight, the real winners are the players that were not involved).

- Flexibility/comeback potential: imo, this separates good FFA players from normal players. First in terms of army/tactis, being able to adapt to their opponents, but even more so in terms of eco/strategy: being able to rebound after losing ground, by spreading eco, build power etc.

I'm sure many other good FFA players can add to that. ( @Jasper, @Kingstad, @DeinFreund, @taftaflexenope, @EtSuRii, @izirayd, @UltraGodzilla, @Yogzototh etc.)
