I believe it's rather easy to implement, by copying the steam behaviour. Here's [url=https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/Zero-K-Infrastructure/pull/2008/files]a PR for that[/url]. It would have to be tested and reviewed before being merged, which I wouldn't recommend doing before steam anyway. I believe it also has more code than needed.
