1 So, there's a FPS mode for controlling individual units in the game. To use it I think you select a individual unit and press CTRL+V. (I'm not sure because i've rebinded the key. 5 FPSing works very well with scout units, sniper units and turrets ( you can fire in three-rocket bursts with the cheapest missile tower) , as well as tanks ( ) . Controlling gunships is glitched where moving "forward" will make your plan turn around and move in reverse, making firing impossible. Gunships ( and bots) also can't manually strafe, since all units can only go fowards or backwards in the direction they face.
