The elo discrepancy in big team rooms is a continuous source of instability in the ZK community. Lower elos are constantly at each other’s throats trying to shift blame, and higher elos rarely have to take any responsibility for losses. I’d like to try and give people the opportunity to equalise some of this disadvantage by providing (and priming others to provide) small accessible applied guides on how to fill a specific role in big teams.

A metal waster invests their metal so poorly they are often seen as a hindrance. A gambit junky only knows cheeses and therefore can potentially win games against ill-prepared opponents, but is unreliable and functions independent of anything team mates are doing. Support contributes in a selfless sense towards the team’s well-being, but is less concerned with being on the front-line. A space taker can take and hold territory and is therefore an important (though often unsung) contributor to a team. A self-important game winner is someone who reacts to global game-state and thinks in a strategic manner reacting to threats and closing out the game via tech or overwhelming force.
