I've noticed an influx of newer players recently, as well as returning players, and I also notice that many of them start their own rooms, possibly hoping for a 1v1 or similarly small game. I wouldn't be surprised if they would take advantage of a matchmaker that worked like PW's most recent season/weekend (except with Elo-matching, of course). I'm referring specifically to the UI of the bar at the bottom with the next set of game type & map queues to join up, since that is visible and ever-present without being obtrusive (as the old juggler QM was).
