There's a tiny bug in the metal map. Must be squashed! Squishy bug!

Nope, the west or "north" side of this map is muuuch less hilly/cliffy than DSD. But there are maaany maps with similarities to DSD. Rusty Delta comes to mind.

It is unsurprising that many maps look like DSD. It is interesting to have two or more different terrain zones on a map. Team balance is hurt if the zones aren't equally accessible to both teams so they will tend to span the two teams. A common way to differentiate a zone is through height variation. For ease of camera control it makes sense to place the high terrain on the north side of the map.

Honestly, the real solution would be changing Bertha. But good luck getting GoogleFrog to even say anything about that.

This is one of my favoured maps, many maps have this kind of layout, unfeature one of them, not this :)

This is not a bertha spam map compared to many... if u spam bertha on this map early u lose in most cases.
