Hi, i think its very ulgy on the page here to scroll. Pls fix the Background. I think it would be looking much better!

You can change that in the Css-file, with one easy word ;)

textarea.noScroll {
background-image: url(smallPic.jpg);
background-attachment: --->fixed;<---
}

(Insert the "fixed;" without arrows)

Pls Do it

sure that there is no "small.pic" i dont know what for a name the background have xD

contact the men who is doing the homepage for zero. he know what he have to do :)

What it does? Look, when you scolling, then the background (this awsome spring scenary) will scoll to. IF you insert this "fixed;" then the background will not moving by scrolling.

As example (very ugly one, sry)
http://www.brownielocks.com/fixedbackground.html
the flowers in the background arent moving on scrolling :)

It was originally intended to be fixed but at the time firefox slowed to a crawl when scrolling with a large fixed background.

Why yes, jpg filesizes are considerably less than png ones! allowing the site background to load at an acceptable speed...

png is not the best image type for all purposes.

Those images are from CA mostly, some of those units not included in Zero-K.

Also, the background overlaps the dropdown menus in Internet Explorer. With Firefox (although my FF might be outdated, haven't used it in at least a year), this doesn't happen, but the font in the menus is Times New Roman, and certain elements of the front page drop behind the backgroud permanently when they're rolled over...

Oh, and it's not possible to post new topics in IE, although that's not strictly on-topic.

It might be better simply to have no background at all until a better image is provided, due to the extreme distortion of the selected image. I'm viewing it in browser, by the way.

Something wierd happens when I use the game lobby at the homepage. I just get a white background (or something like that i can't remember) but its really annoys me and it looks but-ugly.

Yes, lobby is using IE display core which is built into windows even if you uninstall IE :-)
So you have to upgrade it to fix it.
