Elo to the player would be excellent. I have mixed feelings on elo being totally public and 'in your face' every game. Even though elo is public, if you know where to look.
Accumulation of points brings pain when points are lost. Creates rage.
When elo was public, veterans would chastise noobs for having a low elo score. Creates rage.
I see a lot less rage now vs a year ago. Even though it is implied that losses cause loss of elo by those who know.
I haven't seen a single low elo noob say: "I just play for fun, elo means nothing to me." Because they are terrible and further demoralized by having a low score, I feel noobs used to throw games purposely.
Elo is ZK IQ - nobody likes to be told they have a low IQ.
