How to set better graphics quality on springweblobby (googlecode)?

Since it seems that Zero-K web lobby doesn't support the new Spring (97) version on Linux host, I followed Anarchid's advice and switched to https://code.google.com/p/springweblobby. It seems to work fine (at least until today. Today it ignores my attempts to start/join/spectate a game). When it did work however, the graphics had a very poor quality. I guess it is using some low graphical defaults. Is there any way to improve the quality of graphics on springweblobby, or is it something that is reserved for a native Zero-K client?

Hi. The Weblobby project has recently moved to github ( https://github.com/springweblobby/swl-website ). It would be greatly helpful if you have specific questions or bug reports to direct them there. You can also chat in the weblobby channel to which you get auto-joined.

I assume when you say "the graphics" you're referring to the game itself. It sounds to me like your settings might be configured differently when using weblobby vs. zklobby. Look in the settings tab, specifically first for Spring Safe Mode (under Weblobby settings). If that isn't checked, click the Edit Spring Settings button to get access to the engine settings.

I recall that zklobby also sets a special nonstandard config variable that tells Zero-K the game to set you to lowest settings. It's possible from your previous struggle with zklobby that you set this variable to lowest. You may need to open ~/.spring/springsettings.cfg to find it. But I don't know what it's called, hopefully someone else can shed some light.
