I'm reverting large blocks of changes in the period before the first stable in which desync definitely occurred. So it would be very useful if all battles which have desync are reported here with their battle link.

Lua Unit Scripts are, in engine terms, Lua Gadgets, and reside in LuaRules folder and in synced execution context.

They can do a lot of things besides just desyncing. They can do anything. You could make a Linux emulator inside of a LUS and get Quake running on it.

(that said, armcir.lua doesn't look suspicious enough, but then the hypothetical bug wouldn't either, otherwise there would be no need for blanket bisects like this)

There is precedent for models causing desync. This was a rather large change between those versions (there are a lot of death clones) and it is comparatively easy to revert model changes. Units and death clones being in the wrong situation matches the observed desync frequency because not ever unit is used or dies in all possible ways every game. I'm not sure what causes model desync but it's likely possible to 'clean' a model of whatever it is that breaks without visibly changing the model. However you look at it the revert is temporary.

If models can cause desyncs, can using different textures? If so I may have caused some desyncs by using textures that are not the defaults. I did it by renaming the default texture and giving my custom texture the name of the default one. This was back when I was looking at converting .3do models, so I was trying to see how it worked. I have not used these textures for months and have even reinstalled my OS since then. It cant have caused any desyncs within the last 3 months.

Apparently textures can't cause desync but your computer is a box full that depends on the paths of reasonably energetic electrons so who knows what could happen.

There are lots of desync after the middle of the game (and also some shit with pathing)
When I played before, there was no desync in zkdota.
Now I changed only base animation and unit scripts, and model. So I don't think that zkdota cause desync.

Here I got desynced or at least it said so for me, but there were no other signs of desync ingame:

Game was short and with few units used so maybe it will help find the cause.
The desync started around when Swappan's com died or possibly when he started terraform a few seconds earlier.
