Zero-K not properly downloading

I invited a couple of friends to try Zero-K with me last night. It downloaded, but they couldn't sink. After several attempts on their part I too uninstalled and reinstalled Zero-K. It downloads the map, Zero-K and the 91.0 engine, but will not allow me to start any game now. Something is seriously wrong serverside or something.

I tried before just before posting that. But I will try to install it again now.

Update: Still failing to install. Seems to be the Spring engine itself.

Settings -> Open game data folder -> /engine -> empty this folder and let it redownload

Already done that, five times.

It keeps trying to update the old 91.0 Spring engine. It succeeds but doesn't sync and then just tries to redownload it again when you try a new game. I have completely wiped the game files, changed directories, installed Spring first and then Zero-K. From a first time installation standpoint it is completely borked.

May have discovered a fix. The engine is download into the 91.0 folder, but it dumps the files a subfolder simply called "91".

Moving/copying the files into the parent 91.0 folder allows the engine to work properly.

To resolve this issue

03:55] SkyRifter About the engine not being able to download and work
[03:55] KingRaptor argh
[03:56] KingRaptor okay, can you go to Settings -> Open game data folder -> /engine and tell me what's inside?
[03:56] SkyRifter 2 files 91.0 and pool
[03:56] KingRaptor and in 91.0?
[03:56] SkyRifter 91> then has a few files and folders
[03:57] KingRaptor okay, copy the contents of /engine/91.0/91 to engine/91.0 and engine/91
[03:57] KingRaptor then restart lobby

Which has fixed the problem for myself and Iscin

Happy gaming

Still having issues. Now with maps not properly downloading and random crashes.

Frankly this shit needs to be rectified serverside. I won't come back to Zero-K until it is.

Firewall? Does the map exist as a file in the maps folder?

It might be due to the recent server instability.
