In this game, [pikts]wolas mace is untargetable early in the game. It sits next to the shipyard.

If you look at the hitbox and the grey sphere with Alt+b the mace is clearly outside.

Reduce the size of the hitvolume. Skasi be damned. I'd like to be able to svn lock changes to hitvolumes.

I have a question that may sound stupid but I'm a layman.
Could the hitboxes be replaced by "hitpolygons" corresponding to the actual model?

AFAIK you can't have polygons per se, but you can have per-piece hitboxes, so you could theoretically emulate a polygon in some hackish ways. Anyway, hitboxes that aren't simple would decrease performance while not bringing about much change since you can fix the friendly fire issue by reducing the aimsphere size.

This is the size of the 'friendly fire avoidance box' (the purple thing).
You can kind of see the problem here and why I rage whenever people fiddle with factory hitvolumes.

the one thing you can try to get the unit out of the box is pushing it with another unit...
why do we have no ship with a newton gun? extremolololy bugfixing!
