Some graphics glitches

Hello

I have three problems.
The first is with the strike commander. I have had this problem for a while now, whenever it is visible (any strike comm, not just mine) all of my building and units become invisible.

strike comm problem

and the comm itself

strike comm

But when it is off screen

strike comm off screen

the second is much less serious but i thought i should report it anyway. It is about crabe wreckages, when a crabe wreckage is on screen other wreckages get some weird texturing

crabe wreckages

when you zoom in to the crabe wreck everything goes black

crabe wreckage 2

The third is with the starlight, when you can see it my commander is invisible

And when it is off screen the comm is visible again

My system specifications are:
Xubuntu 12.10 64bit
Intel i3 2100 UArank3.1Ghz
Corsair vengance 4gb 1333mhz (all my cpu can take)
Intel hd 2000 (what i would expect to be causing the problem)
Asus p8h67 m-le (mobo)
nothing is overclocked and i should also say that none of the problems are present in spring 92.0 (apart from the startlight only having half of its particles between the base and the floaty bit)

Hope you can help

Intel hd 2000

Ouch.

Try updating your graphics card drivers. It'd also help if you posted your infolog.txt (it's in your /spring folder), so we can look at the error messages.

There's some serious OpenGL mess going on there. All drivers up to date?

I know what hd 2000 is like because I use blender with cycles but im waiting for gtx700 series. I have tried updating drivers before but all intel give is a link to a site which has the stuff to compile the drivers yourself so I am just running on whatever came with xubuntu 12.10.
Should i actually put infolog.txt here as it is 108028 lines long (almost all of them the same) I dont imagine the admins would be too happy about me putting that here.
Also I did all the tests again and this time it looked like this:

Now stuff works

I could actually see my units and building.

You can put the infolog on http://www.pastebin.com/

Pastebin gives me an error
"You have exceeded the maximum file size of 500 kilobytes per paste."
Anywhere else that you would suggest I could put it?

You should manually compress the file.

How do I do that? Do you mean compress it to a .zip file?

I mean if the same error line appears 10^5 times you can delete the copies and say it occurred 10^5 times.

I just remembered to say that the strike commander issue also applies to ultimatums.

On further research it looks like it is actually my graphics card and drivers. Thank you everyone for your help and if there is anything that can be done with spring or ZK please do but I dont think there is anything to be done.

Sounds like 3do issue? (3do models are ultimatum, strike commander, pitbull, reef for example)

What actually is 3do? (Not the console from 1993 i assume?) also what unit is the pitbull? On infolog.txt lines 800 to 807 there is a 3d0 error witch was in battle Multiplayer B150361 2 on Mearth_v4 when I destroyed one of the reefs I was ambushed by. What would be the cause of the 3do errors?
Hope you can help

.3do is the original Total Annihilation model format, which has been mostly replaced with .s3o (the Spring native model format), but apparently not completely.

ok. So when spring 92.0 is playable on the servers these problems should not be present?

On Linux I have the same problems with both HD 3000 and HD 4000. Nightly mesa and drivers.

I have the same problems with my Linux Mint 14 system. I have a HD 3000. I also couldn't find any workaround or fix... we all have to wait till 0.92 I guess :(

Does anyone know when we will be able to use spring 93.0?
