All right! Let’s get this party started, it’s time for the 2013 Zero-K tourneyyyyy!!!!!!!
You have time until Sunday 3.2. 9:00 UTC, to play your matches. The matches are best of 3, but if you and your opponent want to savour the tournament by playing more games, you may also do a best of 5. :)
(Note: Anarchid vs. kmar and GoogleFrog vs. Pinguinpanic have 2 weeks to play their matches)
Check out the tournament bracket and your opponent here!Maps will be chosen the following way:-There will be a 7-map mappool for each round of the tourney.
-At the beginning of every match, the player who has been marked in the tournament bracket image with an asterisk (*) will eliminate two of the maps in the 7-map pool. Then their opponent will do the same. After this, the asterisk-marked-player will choose one of the remaining 3 maps to play the first game upon. The second game’s map will be chosen by the other player, and the 3rd game’s map will be the final remaining one.
-If you want to play a best of 5, both players eliminate only 1 map, and then the players alternate picking maps to play upon.

A little about arranging the matches:-Players arrange the matches with each other. You can use this thread for that.
-You may concede your match, but if you do so, please tell so in this thread, so we don’t have to guess.
-Advertising in the #zero-k channel when your match is starting is nice, so people can come and spectate live. :) Remember to only use specchat when spectating tourney games.
-Adding your current round’s opponent to the lobby’s friend list makes it easier to see when that player is online. To do this, go to your opponent’s profile page, and click “Chat with [name] in the lobby”. Then friend-add them in the lobby with rightclick. They will look grey in the chat-tab when offline and pink when online.
-If you send messages to an offline player in Zero-K lobby, that player will get the messages the next time they are online.
