Cannot set terraform height on Linux

I'm running ZeroK on linux, and I'm having some issues with terraform. I can use the lasso to select areas, and I can even use smooth area correctly. However, whenever I'm using a terraform tool that requires a height (raise, level etc), the minute i move my mouse to set the height, it plunges the height down (always down) to like negative 1 million height, no matter which way I move the mouse. How can I fix?

This works fine on Windoze.

You have weirdest issue ever. Terraform and linux is nowhere connected its just another gadget. Only connection with linux is maybe different uikeys.txt or something, or if you compiled spring yourself then... might... But still have absolutely no idea how this and linux connects.

I don't run it on Windoze because Spring on Windows has (for my graphics card) a crippling driver bug that only lets me play on Low settings. However, on Linux I can play on Very High.

My copy of spring is from the spring ppa repository, and i have not modified uikeys.txt or any of those configfiles.

What debugging files / info can I give to help you guys solve my problem?

Known here -> http://springrts.com/mantis/view.php?id=3110

Apparently using windowed fullscreen fixes this.

Anybody plays spring in linux with fullscreen on? that's a crime... At least in linux there is no way to control music player, tab out and so on and windowed fullscreen makes tabing out much better than windows one. In kde you can make rules which automatically makes window full-screen so its unnoticeable.

Oh. Yes. Press ctrl and move mouse.

http://zero-k.info/Wiki/Terraforming
Hold Ctrl and move the mouse to select the height to be levelled to from terrain by mousing over the terrain.
