Post your vital comp specs here(CPU, RAM, Graphics card) and your fps in zero-k (include graphics settings and size of game).

Im thinking about getting a new computer and want to see how different setups compare.

Thanks a bunch guys!

Intel i5-3570K
GeForce GTX 560 Ti
8 GiB DDR3 RAM

Max everything settings, 60+ fps in any size or condition except the most heinous of FFA's.

I pretty much took the popular $800 build off of r/buildapc from the time, trying to maximize on good power but good value also. I would highly recommend taking a look at some of the builds and comments there.

Only real criteria is to get Nvidia for your graphics card, as the drivers seem to play much nicer with Spring.

This is so pointless. It simply depends on game size. If you would choose some demo and ask people to watch then it might have a little sense and if you would use fps counter then results would be actually comparable.

Laptop 1366x768 or 1920x1080 when attached to monitor I think there is no fps diference at all.

4GB ddr2 ram

Most of things on lowest. Big games are still quite playable and over sized porcy games not(like speed metal). I dont even watch at fps... But its not big, often below 20 or in late game 10 fps.

Yeah ask for demo with fps widget meter enabled...

Otherwise it wont help you...

AMD PhenomII x4 2.6 GHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM 1333 MHz
GForce9800 GT 512 MB
1920x1200 monitor
Win7 Professional

All setting at minimal.

This gives a very solid performance. (>120 fps) Only in the late game on mega maps with an infinite amounts of players this starts to lag. If i increase the graphics settings with shadows, luaparticles and all the other fancy effects the lag can start in the mid-game.
But since i play 1v1 and small games mostly this doesn't matter.

It would indeed be nice to post a replay and ask ppl to post their specs and frame at rate certain moments in the game. Make sure to record some camera movement (lock camera) so the captured fov is the same.

AMD FX 4100 Quad Core
8GB Memory
Sapphire Radeon ATI HD 6450(I believe 12.6 Drivers)
Win 7 64-Bit

I run farely well at Medium although I probably would run better if I actually got around to buying a better video card, as I have problems in better graphic games anyway(ie WoT)

I am considering between a nvidea gtx 660ti and an AMD radeon 7950. They both have simmilar prices and the AMD slightly outperformes it. Currently I have an AMD card but have had no problems playing ZK. Will the 7950 work with ZK?

I would always recommend nvidia. Better support for opengl in proprietary drivers and better open source drivers. A GTX 660 Ti is a nice choice, massively overkill for zero-k, but it should do you well for years of games released in the future.
