Two things i've noticed while using this...sometimes when you are given your units/buildings back some still aren't given back to you, permanently becoming the other players until manually given back. Happens more often than not if the inactivity sharing afk is frequent. Also all buildings you've queued things into are no longer building anything or have their queue anymore...

All units that are finished under the control of the person your units were given to while you were afk will stay with the player that built them.

Also, when you go afk and your stuff gets donated to other people, they will often just cancel the factory queue you had, as it is now draining their metal. Stop going afk.

No...the other two people i play with are telling me exactly what's happening. I can reproduce this over and over. I do not get every unit back that i created before going idle...same with the others, had a Funnelweb I just built went idle, came back and oh guess what, the other player now owns my FunnelWeb that i just built before i went idle, but i got back most of my stuff. Sometimes it works fine and i get all my units back others it messes up, same with the other players...seems more often than not when u idle often which most people don't do during a game. And no, no one is canceling anything. Their queues are just gone.

i've played literally several games with inactivity sharing on and watched this happen, got sick of finding units and then manually giving them back to people. It became a pain so i just disabled it...problem solved

Find a replay where this happened and post the link (with an approximate time and location).

Nanoframes that are constructed are not given to the previous owners should they be completed while they're afk. This has problems:

1.) What of the person who starts a nanoframe, goes afk at 1% and comes back at 99%? Sure this is not a huge ordeal for say a glaive, but expensive units are a huge sink.
2.) What about someone who goes afk at 50.0000000001% and returns when it's completed?
3.) What about someone who goes afk at 90% and comes back after its finished?

I have seen this with ready units. Sometimes it also happens after afker unit (plane) is repaired/rearmed while he is afk. However such things happened very rare so it never had been concern for me.

Inactivity sharing is there as a safety net in case something goes wrong. It doesn't mean that players are free to go AFK whenever they like and expect the system to work in their favour. That said, if you generate a simple replay to reproduce your issue then someone may fix it.

Inactivity sharing is somewhat broken at this time. On numerous occasions units and structures that should be given back are not. In addition, after being given units of an inactive player, it is possible to give them back only for the player to go AFK for the rest of the game. You end up having an inactive player and not being able to use those units. I don't believe either of those things works completely as intended.
