I've decided to try make a video where I talk through one of my games, showing my thought processes and decision making. It's my first video of its kind, any tips for improving it would be appreciated, and if you enjoy it I'll try make more at some point.

Here is a strategy I made a few weeks ago on Red Comet, when Hover became a very popular choice for land maps and I wanted to try find a way to do a greedy quick expansion and survive the early dagger harassment, then kick in to good production myself.

Video:

Examples:

it would be interesting to get another video that explains what izirayd could have done as counterplay? or do you think your strategy is basically optimal?

Strategy changes every patch tbh, some facs/units support different openings better.
Though I could see multiple facs working with this opening.

Potential weakness of this tactic:

1. I could see troubles against fencer which can pressure the mid llt and fac because engi com and com goes top.

2. Same with Rogue + Outlaw

3. Constant top pressure against the 2x con start until commander comes -> push mid going around llt, forcing attention on both sides -> potential retreat of top units to avoid pincer attack with com into pressuring mit until llt falls and com + fac is wide open

I expect good counters would be (but not limited to):

- Playing greedily yourself against it as there is very little early pressure.

- A fast fencer type push may also be difficult to deal with as you need a good number of daggers early on to pick them off.

- Koda's may have too much firepower to hold off, that one LLT would probably not hold.

- Also the scouting comes a bit later so you'll get a later warning than normal of any incoming cheese.

I haven't faced any of these yet with it, and theory is nowhere near as good as facing it in practice.
