Hello all,

I'm trying to see if I can get a newer version of my map available for play on Springie.

I can see the previous version (0.1) on here: http://zero-k.info/ResourceDetail.aspx?resourceID=23475 .
-- The failed downloads are due to me trying to change Springie's host map between another map and my map, and my Zero-K Lobby claims that the map download failed.
I've uploaded the newer version (0.2) to Springfiles here: http://springfiles.com/spring/spring-maps/mini-nuggets (over the previous (0.1) version.

Did I mess up? The only other thing I can think of is adding it as a new upload to Springfiles, but I feel like that's inefficient.

Thoughts?
Thanks! :D

My opinion, you need to make it as a new map, possibly with a version number. I'm no developer, but that seems to be the way to diffentiate maps and keep from such issues.

You put 'v2' in the title, name etc of everything.

Thats how you do versioning.

SaktothIVL: So will Springie just grab the latest version available? And should I be uploading over my old one, or just make a new submission altogether?

Many thanks to both!

Make a new submission altogether titled something along the lines of "MininuggetsV2"

No, they are different maps with different names. People will play v2 instead of version 1, we can all hope.

No idea how SpringFiles work regarding uploading new versions.

Springfiles is only remotely related to ZK system.

But after you upload to springfiles you should find the map here:

http://zero-k.info/Maps/Detail/23485

then you can switch to it if you type exact name of the map (or click play in zkl)
