Game music not working.

I have an issue with the in game music is no longer working. The only thing I did was turn the music volume (in game) all the way down for while to listen to my own music. After a while I wanted to use the in game music again, turned volume up and there was nothing. I uninstalled and reinstall the game and that did not work either. Is there a "factory reset" that I do not know of?

Did you accidentally disable the music player somehow?
You can restart it by setting volume to zero then to (> 0).

Alt+F11 while in game (create a skirmish game or load campaign, don't do this while in multiplayer). Look for Music Player in the list. If it's grayed out, put the check mark against it and music should start playing if the volume is >0.

RamdonX's solution worked. I have tried Histdine's solution already but that did not work. Odd that turning the volume down would some how disable the music player. Thanks for your help guys!

I actually like the fact that the gadget turns itself off when not needed so extra code is not executed, but re-enabling music should be a lot more intuitive than this. Ideally, just raising music volume above zero would turn it back on.

It's already supposed to turn back on though. I'm surprised it didn't (and IIRC it did for someone on Steam forums just last month).

Never worked for me. Maybe it's different on Steam or on Linux, never tried ZK on either.

I have a similar problem where there is no sound in game (anywhere) so I tried both methods and Music Player was turned off but turning it on haven't changed anything even after playing with volume values. So I tried reinstalling the game and it haven't changed. What's the solution to that? (There is everything fine in system settings)

Sounds like a different issue, perhaps starting a new thread about it might be a good idea.
