Let's say I plopped cloakbots and want to attack with groups of 2 Ronin and a Reaver. I could rally them directly to an attack point, but they will attack single file and not in formation and I won't be able to take advantage of Lanchester's Laws. What can I do in the Zero-K interface or with the help of Lua to solve this problem?

there's wait commands, which someone else will have to elaborate on. https://zero-k.info/mediawiki/index.php?title=Wait_Command

In an FFA, I devised a stratagy as hover. what you do is you put lances on fight move, but also have 2 maces in front of each lance. Achieve this by using guard direction, which you do like circle guard, but with Ctrl held. you can modify guard to keep to a cardinal direction from a unit and you can use guard to keep units in relation to the direction of a unit's facing. video link for circle guard, 'elaborate on that.'
