It whenever the game loads, it stops midway and give sme this error: error in main Could not load texture file bitmaps/pd/shield.png

My guess is that a bad download would cause missing resources. There will be some way to rescan the files and fix them or at worse redownload the content again.

Apparently you do

Settings tab -> clear (in ZK lobby)
Then restart ZK lobby.
