I agree. It's getting on my nerves.

Remove it completely from the normal server. We have a Silly maps server for a reason.

How this can be maps fault? This is players fault who do that. Same shit could happen with some DSD fans or something.

I suggest excluding those from maplist (if something like that exists) for normal servers and allow only on silly hosts. That would solve the problem.

It probably would not be so bad if:
1. ZK-lobby is fixed so that my vote button doesnt start spanning my entire screen
2. Springie is fixed so that it forces a small pause between games, regardless of how long or short previous game was (game ends, withing 5 seconds someone !start)
3. Springie is fixed so that !start no longer works when there is a vote still pending (!map gets 7/9 vs 4/9 votes but current map is trololo and stays trololo, so what do the trololo players do? You guessed it, they !start)
4. Springie is fixed so that it changes the map, no matter how long or short previous game was
5. Springie is fixed so that !votemap while a game is in progress is disabled

And yes, it is the players fault, not the map.

I dont mind playing trololo from time to time, but a run of trololo and all the ninjastart abuse that goes with it, that is what pissing me off.

Yes its the players fault but the trolls that should be playing on silly maps go to normal maps and ruin it for the ppl that just want to play normal maps.

There are different rooms for a reason and if there are assholes who just ruin it for other ppl then banning maps is the only option.

Imho, the problem is the "quick-restart" timing logic. Quick restart is a good idea - when a 1v1 or otherwise small game ends quickly, I don't want to have to wait the full start-delay until the next round.

The problem is that it only considers the last game, not the total amount of time since the last wait period.

If you play one game that's less than 10 minutes, by all means let us quickly play another round on the same map. But if you play 20 consecutive games that are each less than 10 minutes but are collectively 3 hours of play? There you've got a problem.

That and voting could use a little work - putting forth a failed motion should take away your ability to call a vote for a bit to avoid monopolizing the vote system. Also, !start should be blocked if there's a vote in progress. The first change will prevent abusing the voting system to prevent a !start.

Starting a game needs to be disabled on certain votes imo. At least when they are about to pass if it had enough time. Someone of you should code that, I am sure no developer would object implementing such a feature.
