Zero-k Lobby change and mess up springsettings.cfg

I'm experimenting with settings of game to get better picture.
Why after i manually change some settings, after game start they got overridden, some disappear...

Also i found, that bump water is bugged with some settings in full-screen mode, i see broken textures out of map(where should be empty space), when move on map, or scroll.

BumpWaterAnisotropy = 6
BumpWaterBlurReflection = 1
BumpWaterDepthBits = 16
BumpWaterRefraction = 2
BumpWaterTexSizeReflection = 512
BumpWaterUseDepthTexture = 1
BumpWaterShoreWaves = 1

Any suggestions what can cause this problem?

Also i tryed
FSAA = 1
FSAALevel = 16
and didnt notice any significant difference in full screen mode...

Also, i find some way to make edges of shadows not so sharp, they looks ugly.
Any suggestions about how i can achieve this?

I dunno what really causes it... guess some shaders. I had same problem once with water..
try:

endlesswater = 0
in cfg

For the bugs try engine forum or mantis.

Spring removes options from the config file if they are set to default.

to protect config file from changes in game set:
LuaWritableConfigFile=0

default values will still be removed, thats a feature of spring.

(edit: this won't protect from zero-k lobby changes)

There needs to be a better way to prevent games from messing up spring-wide settings.
For example changing sound volume in 0k should not change volume for other games:

Setting UnitIconDist (the distance at which units turn into icons) in 0k is another thing that changes it for all games.

Widget settings are already set per-game in LuaUI\Config, should be like this for more things. (not sure what is possible atm and what not)
