XP gain... not only in battles?

Currently, as I look at my xp bar, it is full.

Level 15:
6400 / 6400 xp, progress 100%.

What I AM sure is that a few days ago, I was not at 100%. (close to 100%, but not AT 100%, would have remembered that)
I have not played any games since that time.


Is there an xp gain over time mechanic around here that I'm not aware of?

I don't know, I don't believe so. It is as probable that the experience system was revised.

Or battle failed to register and was later recalculated from backup. It can happend and backup is checked every 5 minutes.

Ah, so that was how you got around the battles that were being missed? Good move, I was worried about that.
