Do you like freeze rays? Think about it, instead of flamethrowers on Christmas, pyros will now have freeze rays and will be renamed to Chryo.

Chryos can slow down targets with their freezerays but doesn't do as much damage.
A skyblueish color would do great for the blast.

funnel would profit alot of a primary stun/freeze gun... (or spawning 1-2 fleas [or even better tiny ticks] instead)

Have funnel be a mobile roach creator
Why don't we just retexture lightning to look like a ray? Might be great.
Or slow weapons?
