He had no los nor did his team!. Aswell as being able to see a cloaked scorpion moving he also saw a dante being built and informed his team of both. At no point did his team have los.

I watched the replay with /specfullview 0 and I can confirm he cheated.

At about 7:50 he says "they are building scorpion" while area where it was never scouted.
At about 8:30 he says "the scorpion is going north" again having no los or radar there.
Didn't watch further because it seems like enough evidence.

By the way I was in the same team as him and was attacking this area later with hovers and I am 100% sure strider hub was not scouted.

There were only 4 specs in game, and one was Anteep. Same clan and country. Are you his smurf, or were you feeding him information?

Games like this demonstrate that they're different people, since they're all playing. Still, friends/roomates.

Spec cheating will put a complete end to open spectating and means we might need more measures in place for account control. It will really damage the game. Don't do it.

You get banned for trolling. Just don't. If Quadaffi had taken this more seriously in chat (and stop throwing around racial slurs) maybe a ban wouldn't have been necessary. If he wants to sit down and explain that he was just screwing about and considered the game won, he can do that. If he's going to make stupid jokes about racial slurs instead he gets banned.

Edit2: det says that game desynced hard, and at no point was sfireman's alt actually spectating- he probably never joined the game (running on the same box etc). While he did have knowledge of the Zenith and Fusion, given the desyncs, he may have just scouted for it.

If anyone else has any games they want to point to where sfireman or anyone else may have speccheated please feel free to bring them to our attention.

Zenith? That game lagged so badly SO BADLY, that I build detriminent and big lazor, didint even notice if there was any zeniths...

And spec cheating is quite a minor thing, harming normal players-spectators would be overkill. Simply ban double accounts like [voice]Sfireman or what it was specially if it is used for abuse like aditional !vote 1.

spec cheating is not the only way to cheat, I know of at least one other way to watch the replay of a game in process. Quadaffiduck is a troll anyway, most games all he does is spam dirtbags and spout racism

do we? seems to me we can just bankick the obvious clowns who do it, its not like they tend to be skilled players or socially graced. Most of them are rude, aggressive, vocal and stupid.

The game, where it is played properly and competitively, does not see spec cheating. Small team games and 1v1 can be policed fairly easily. They also have a vibrant spectator community, where you get 6+ 1v1 players sitting in a room commenting with eachother on a game in progress in spec chat, and alternating between playing eachother. In larger, less serious games, having experienced players there to help out new players is hugely valuable, and helps to build a sense of community and an engagement with the game.

It's these giant 10v10's where there is too much to keep track of and anti social behavior from idiots like you who are ruining this for everyone. And it has nothing at all to do with a system that allows it, other than a system that allows trolling players like you (with the bogus racism claims, I doubt you are a black jew, and if you are it is irrelevant).
