If we had an award for every single unit (flea, glaive, bandit, a hovercraft, a spider,...) it really wouldn't make awards special.
FYI: Damage awards are designed so that it's hard for several people to earn a bunch of awards in the same battle. If player A earns an airforce award then player B will have a harder time earning a fleet award. Why? In order to get an airforce award you need to do a lot of damage with planes, meaning you have to do better compared to everyone else (it looks at average damage done by everyone else). But this means if you do a lot of damage, that means you raised the average higher making it so someone else couldn't earn the fleet award.
And yes I'm not sure why experimental award was removed, we could add that back in again.
