Whenever I try to play Zero-K, the loading bar is stuck at 72% and closes itself. Is there any fix for this?

(Not sure If I need to include the logs though.)

logs are always good put them to pastebin.com
and your logfile is called infolog.txt though ZeroKLobby has an button to show logfile I think

For your information, I use a laptop, which don't come with graphics cards.

p.s. try running on lower graphic settings(zero-k lobby has switches for this under settings)

Enable Safe Mode.

Most gaming laptops have a 'discrete' GPU that is distinct from just having an integrated GPU. That's what RUrankFirepluk is talking about.

Integrated GPU's come in all sorts and a lot of people manage to play ZK with them at the cost of some nicer things in life like shadows and shiny units.

But then some integrated cards are just insufficient. For those you could indeed say that "my laptop does not have a GPU", if jokingly :P

Nah you don't understand its not that AUrankcoolgi462 have a integrated GPU. He doesnt have a GPU at all. I think we've gone all the way back to 80s at this point.

On point: post a new log. It might reveal some other issue that is preventing you to play.

To clarify: Zero-K or the Spring engine often do not go very well with "minimalistic" onboard graphic processing units. Usually a dedicated GPU is required to run everything without a problem.

Did you try the safemode? It sets low settings that are considered compatible with more hardware.
Maybe someone should add some instruction HOW to enable actually safemode, for the different lobbies...

I tried playing Small Supreme Battlefield V2. Same results. It doesn't work.

- Are you using the Zero-K lobby?
- (If yes) have you tried using safe mode? (it's a checkbox in settings IIRC)

- In the second log the last thing which seems to be as intended is:
[f=0000000] Loading Skirmish AIs

Try starting a game with no AIs.

Doubt that explains the graphics card problems though.
