also does disruptor ammo and high calaber affect the shock converted gauss?

Disruptor Ammo does affect shockrifles - they were missing in the description.
High caliber barrels do not affect shockrifles.

I think weaponmods are too random when it comes to weapons they affect. Could probably use some overhaul.

Strike commander + high-density-plating + 3 dmg+booster.
has at level 4 nearly the same stats as:
Battle commander + 2 range-booster.

The Strike commander is the worst com ever - if you morph it.
Support com and Recon com have at least some speed or BP advantages.

Wow you already found that out too? Good job.

Strike commander is weaker overall to make up for the many weapons and modules it can access compared than other commanders. It even says so in the guide!!

There are so many weapons that you don't need to have the Stike com to get good ones.

Tell me one important weapons which at least 10% of ppls use and which isn't available for the battlecom.

Also Strike cannot take area shield.
The modules to euqalise takes too much slots and are too expensive.

Battle com cant have cloak and dont get range bonus on each level like strike.
While recon / support can't have some weapons which strike has, dgun for example.

Well, all of them Ion! Lightning gun, Gauss rifle and Slow beam are all well used (although I personally don't use either of them :P). Gauss is probably the most common of those, but the number of people using a weapon doesn't tell whether it's powerful or not.

ok, maybe lightening gun has some useage...
... but it can miss fleas and isn't as good as an allrounder as the shotgun is.

Strike isn't much faster if you have 1 high density plating.

Gauss got nerfed a lot in both range and damage - the same for slow beams.
Once introduced they were great AA if morphed to disruptor beams, but get nerfed in range later.

Personally I dislike how coms get nerfed so much in both - in strenght and in costs.

get a support com, give it e-cells, 1 nano, 1 nano/lazarus at level 2 and be happy with it.

Unless you excess or play on sea maps, there is nothing more that you need.

You can use the battle com with shotgun and auto repair, but this will cost you 350 of your starting metal and kills any early economy boost triages.

I've done some testing - the weapon can be fired at water when standing on land, the projectile will bounce a few times, not getting very far on flat land, then explode. It is NOT a multi purpose weapon and so not meant to fire at units on land, although with lots of luck it might be able to hit a unit when force-firing at water. It should be able to fire on land units when they are submerged, I am unsure about the minimum deepness required.

Torpedo launcher makes 180 dps at 600 range.

the com module only makes 60 dps at 400 range and sucks if you have 2 modules - you get only 1 at all.

Stats are utterly useless without some common sense and the bigger picture. Torpedo launcher is also static, and it's floaty so it is vulernable to pretty much all weapons. (Unike underwater units, which are vulnerable to very few weapons)

but it's
1. a bug that you can't choose 2 torp launchers.
2. you can buff the damage with up to 7 damage boosts (you need 1 autorepair or pers.shield) + battlecom and would get up to 240 dps if it would work without bug - that's far to low compared to torpedo boats and sniper subs and precision bombers...

but maybe they get a buff if there are anti-sub hovers and torpedo-scouts.
