On my machine Spring 98 etcetera (latest version, downloaded by lobby) crashes when launched without leaving an infolog behind.
What can i do to determine the reasons?
I am running Ubuntu (trusty)

Try launching it manually from the CLI:
cd ~/.spring/engine/98.0.1-999-gb2acadab2a/
./spring
There should be some red lines indicating the problem.

Give us 'etcetera' as that is the important bit.

The last version i have is 98.0.1-451-g0804ae1
The error i get is:
./spring: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL2-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
P.S. installing package libSDL2-2.0-0 fixed the problem. Thank you!
