I was wondering if there is some effort to get Zero-K on Desura, Evolution RTS is alredy there and IMO is ZK better.

I investigated desura, it needed video trailers which we didnt have at that time. Atm we can proceed with desura again.

Sooo, do you think it'd be better if Zero-K went to Desura ASAP, or does the newbie experience still need improving before that? (implementation of matchmaking, etc etc.) EvoRTS went to Desura but didn't get a playerbase, because it uses less-than-stellar springlobby, I think.

EvoRTS didn't have the playerbase to sustain a playerbase. If someone tried multiplayer it was hard to get a game. ASAP is probably good for ZK now, things seem to work.

I'd say premium content shouldn't interfere with the gameplay (like offset balance), but silly hats for commanders would be fun.

Plan is to make a plan, its been requested long time ago but nobody is up to job.. XP/level system is less than stellar too imo
