Units now deal as much damage as is stated in the detailed unit information panel (viewable by Space+Click on a unit). If a unit says it does 200 damage then it should kill a unit with 400 HP in two shots. There are a lot of cases so if you a unit that does not deal quite enough damage make sure to report it.

Balance

Some units have had their health updated to take the daamge change into account. Most were not changed. Here are some examples:
  • Hammer 2 shots Defenders.
  • Sharpshooter 1 shots Stardust.
  • Raven 3 shots Zeus.

Archer:
  • Removed self impulse on land because it could cause movement problems.
  • Health 800 -> 820

Scythe:
  • Health 800 -> 820

Recon Level 0 and 1:
  • Health 1600 -> 1650

Sonar Station:
  • Health 800 -> 750

Banisher:
  • Doubled turret turn rate.
  • LOS range 374 -> 400

Redback:
  • LOS range 660 -> 366

Dante salvo is now wobblier because wobbly salvos are cool. It should consistently hit around the targeted area but do not use it if you are trying to hit a single target at long range.

UI

  • Removed broken degrees sign from detailed unit information.
  • Added elmo as distance unit for unit information until a better unit is found.
  • Fixed a case where many resource bars could appear. The new resource bar has been enabled by default for everyone and the other two have been disabled.

Fixes

  • New Singularity explosion is no longer invisible underwater.
  • Halberd is no longer armoured while under construction.
  • Wolverine mines no longer spawn if they hit a shield.

Should this have been 850, or is the hp decrease intended?

Good work again!

On everything, but the resource panel. The old one was, imho, far superior. It just takes more time to get all the relevant information from this one than the old one. Keep all the numbers close together. You have to read half your screen from left to right to see all the numbers.

What about this:
Break up those two bars into separate widgets and let the user arrange it themselves. I'd like to put them underneath each other.

Decreased health for Sonar Station is intended because intel has no business being high HP.

Most users are not going to arrange any bits of the UI themselves. A major problem with the first resource bars was there it had 10 numbers, 6 clustered closer together and 3 different font sizes. The new one has 6 numbers all of the same size and arranged in a fairly standard way. I think it is the best we have done so far and is probably sufficient for release.

There are some options that could be added:
  • Split the window into 2 windows to let Floris make the bar take up too much vertical space.
  • Add an option to put max storage on the main view (it is currently visible when you mouseover the icon). Max storage did not make it because it is implicit in the bar size and fairly unimportant.

See the notes. Recon lvl 0 and lvl 1 gained 50 health to make it still take 3 shots or a bit of Swifting.

Why not 370? I thought that singular digits are to be avoided as much as possible.
