HT op?
This game didnt feel even the slightest bit challenging, and I didn't even micro my kodachis that well.

LV can probably deal with tanks by winning the early agression+expansion game with just dart+scorcher and very agressive play, but that requires very high skill level and some luck, as even a single kodachi shot can cripple 2x-3x its cost in raiders.
After that they can change to fencers, ravagers or dominatrix-mix-ball.

A problem is that rippers are relatively bad, not enough "bang for the buck". You can't count on them to shield dominatrixes and badgers from kodachi-blitz balls.

I made several mistakes,

early on if I had a small attack party instead of a single scorcher south-west and killed your worker expanding to the west you might have been in more trouble.

then i failed to counter your raids and took too long to assemble the dominatrix+shield ball, and sent it out with barely any AA so it had to retreat, by then it was too late.

Ripper would benefit from a leveler sidearm.

At 2:30 PTrankraaar took a bad fight against Kodachis. The Kodachis were running away and the Scorchers were spread out so most did not actually fire. By the time the fight was over they had lost 430 metal and killed 160.

PTrankraaar expanded quite greedily then excessed 236 metal early on, as well as actually spending quite a bit less metal than USrankFealthas. They eventually dealt with this but it hurt their attrition.

From about 6:00 onwards USrankFealthas just had a massive attrition advantage.

That 2:30 encounter two kodachis were lost not one. So the difference was smaller. And was more than made up on the next encounter.

At 5:00 they had even attrition. Raar had one unit trying to raid, fealthas also had one unit parked to prevent expansion. The one slip was that part of raars defense force was protecting his main against kodachis instead of at his east expansion (and his main mightve suffered the same fate had it been attacked, and had he had his whole army at one place then he mightve just lost the other one). Even AFTER THAT they had even attrition, but now raar was behind on eco

However one small slip and half the eco is gone, if it wasnt because fealthas didnt bother patroling on the west and allowed a naked expac it would have been game right there. This didnt have to do with 230 metal excessed, more like both the effect and reality of that slipping once against kodachis means losing the game because of the eco difference.

At 6:20 blitzes start to come out. raar still protecting himself from kodachis with scorchers and darts. the attrition is even and a raar raid and expansion levels the eco again to be even, they are also at even metal spent. But blitzes riot very well and are very fast, wiping the raid force for the start of the attrition advantage. At this point fealthas blitzes completely counter raars forces.

At 7:50 they had both the exact same amt of metal spent. Blitzball moves forward wiping everything out without any losses and wiping part of raars eco. Game is over. All it took was a group of blitzes and a move command.

The only thing raar imo could do to win at this point is fact switch, either air for thunderbirds or HT for his own blitzes/ogres. But then ops, the glaivespeed tanky blitzes at 11:00 just drive past his counter force and wipe out a third of the remaining eco. GG

Try doing Tanks vs SErankGodde on this map. Not fun.

Haha, thats why i said thunderbird. once disarmed the darts can slow down the blitzes enough for scorchers to kill them. pretty much only works for LV due to the darts. i saw that replay against godde. this is probably one of the maps thats more viable against due to the limited venues of attacks for blitz.

FWIW i don't think Rover really needs Thunderbird to kill Blitz. Kodachi are a much more annoying problem.

Also, I kept throwing away my kodas and never got to the OP number - 3 - that allows you to 1 shot scorchers.

If I didn't suck at raiding, all of that north-east expansion woulve died, and all that eastern stuff too.
